Papal Resources and Media

pope.lastI thought I’d share a few great resources I’ve come across relating to Pope Benedict XVI’s departure as pontiff. Please add any you’ve seen in the comments!

New to our Resource Library: The Pope App.  Watch live events, stream webcams in the Vatican, read news, and view images and archived videos. Looks like it will be a great resource, especially for Conclave coverage. Right now it’s only available for Apple products, and it’s free.

You can “Adopt a Cardinal” and pray that the Holy Spirit may guide, protect and enlighten him as he determines the next successor of St. Peter at adoptacardinal.org.

A blog I came across, Thank You Pope Benedict, is a tumblr set up by the Dominican Catholic of the Diocese of Trenton, NJ. Leave a message and express your gratitude, who knows, maybe he’ll stumble across the blog someday?

And just because I’m feeling nostalgic and sentimental, below is a video I took at a Papal Audience when I was blessed enough to get within 15 feet or so of the Holy Father.

“I ask you to remain firm in the faith, confident that Christ is at your side in every trial.” – Pope Benedict XVI
