A Little Friendly Competition – Catholic Website of the Year Contest

2012 Catholic Parish Website of the YearMany of the comments and questions I receive on Catholic Tech Talk center around building a good church website, website design tips, and site maintenance.  The most common question I receive is one looking for examples of good church websites.  While I occasionally lament that there’s a lot of very poor websites out there, increasingly there’s some very good ones.  Many of you readers are putting in a tremendous amount of dedicated, hard work building and maintaining your church website.  In recognition of that, we’ve created the Catholic Parish Website of the Year contest.  There’s some great examples out there of parish websites that deserve recognition as well as a chance for all of us to learn from example.

Is your church effectively leveraging its website as a communication tool?  Are you proud of your website?  Or know of  a shining example that deserves promotion?  If so, this contest is for you!  The contest is being sponsored by Liturgical Publications with awards going to the top 3 websites submitted.  There’s no cost to submit your website and it will only take a few minutes of your time.  For more information on the contest, please check out our Contest page.

Don’t be shy!  Now is the time to promote your church and the good work you’ve been doing.  Enter your website today.
