U.S. Bishops launch website to promote Catholic social teaching

The USCCB (United States Catholic Conference of Bishops) has launched a new website ‘campus’ to promote Catholic social teaching.

From the USCCB site we have this…

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development has collaborated with eleven Catholic organizations to create a new Web site to help college students and campus ministers promote Catholic social teaching on campus. The Web site, “Transforming Our World: Our Catholic Faith in Action,” can be found at http://www.usccb.org/campus.

In addition to a number of documents on ‘Social Justice’ issues, there is an online form for submitting your ideas.

What are your thoughts? Is this a solid effort to engage the Catholic Faithful via the web, or were there missed opportunities?
